  Terry Marshall Campie has taught at 9 different colleges and universities including graduate studies. Much of his teaching experience has focused on business and other business courses, including accounting. Terry campie left school to apply the principles he taught and to care for his family. He used to walk to his school through a soybean field and when he thought of this experience today he felt proud and laughed a lot.   Terry Campie is Christian.  Terry Marshall Campie  was born again in 1996 on his Grandfather’s birth date, July 17.     Terry Campie salvation began with repentance, with his wife Dena, while attending a Lutheran church in Princeton, Iowa. Prompted to attend church by the birth of his son, Pete, God moved on Terry Campie’s spirit by revealing unresolved sin; and grieving his heart.   Because Dena was already born again and had great need for the teaching of the Word, they both sought a Biblically based church.   Also because music was important to Dena, they had in their criteria uplifting worship.   They started their investigation with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Eldridge,   Iowa.   Once the music started they looked at each other and knee they had found their new church home.   They quickly got involved, Dena as a as a deaconess and Terry teaching. Terry Marshall Campie , a 1986 University of Iowa graduate in the Master of Business Administration program, created “EMS Detergent Services (EMS)” located in North Liberty, Iowa. EMS served over 500 customers in 5 states, both wholesale and retail solid, powder, and liquid detergents. Terry Campie created EMS by acquisition and through a intensive sales program. Terry Campie created EMS by acquired Energy Mizer Systems of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, New Outlooks of Hiawatha, Iowa and a Dubuque, Iowa detergent distribution company then relocating all three entities to North Liberty, Iowa. After turning down an offer to sell EMS to Ecolab, the world’s largest detergent company, he sold it to a local businessman. 

Terry Marshall Campie was recently approved as a mentor for the Davenport, Iowa “180 ministry”. Terry also attends weekly Bible Studies. Mondays are a men's study of Luke, Wednesdays a men/women's evening study of Matthew, and Saturday/Sundays study of Ezekial. He also leads /participates in a book study on Watchman Nee’s the “Spiritual Man” with a friend meeting weekly at a local truck stop in Clinton Iowa.

Terry Marshall Campie a father of two sons, Paul and Peter and a daughter, Lucy, grew up in Camanche, Iowa. Unfortunately, his son Paul died 4 days after birth on January 1, 1988. Terry Campie, and his wife Dena then had Peter Lawrence Campie on June 6, 1990, and Lucy Ellen Campie on March 16, 1993. Terry Campie was the son of Paul John Cam[ie and Belva Campie of Camanche, Iowa Terry Campie was born February 28, 1956, in Fort Riley, Kansas.Terry and Dena lived in Princeton, Iowa from 1983 until 2000 when they moved to the United States Virgin Islands to the island of St. Croix on mission for Jesus Christ.

     Terry Marshall Campie began his entrepreneurial career in the cemetery business. He was elected as President of Memory Gardens Cemetery (MG) in Iowa City, Iowa. Simultaneously, Terry Campie was President and Chief Executive Officer of Memory Gardens Group Incorporated (MGGI). Terry Campiewas responsible for the operations of all cemetery operations including grounds maintenance and development. In one instance, Terry Campie redeveloped the center of the cemetery with few traditional burial spaces to above ground “columbarians” to accommodate 400 times more cremains burials. This provided Johnson County with its first dedicated cremation burial section.

  Terry M. Campie is a 1986 graduate of the University of Iowa MBA graduate program, a terminal degree. His professional career demonstrates the versatility of that program. He was able to leverage that education to owning 5 cemeteries and selling to a company on the NYSE. He also taught business classes fulltime and part time at over 8 USA colleges and universities. Exercising it further he built a home-based business designing and manufacturing custom boat covers. Then he developed and build 4 homes in Camanche before accepting a call from the Lord to minister in the US Virgin Islands. Upon return, he briefly returning to teaching at the college level before acquiring and consolidating 3 detergent manufacturing and distribution companies. This new company was later sought for acquisition by the largest similar company in the world, Ecolab.

    Terry Marshall Campie is developing his calling in ministry. He is engaging with TAC (The Addiction Connection) ministry in a training and support role through his connection with Pure Heart Ministries in Marion, Illinois. Terry plans to attend the November 2022 TAC training summit in Florence, KY. Terry has an education and experience in business management and administration. With that, he plans to help Pure Heart Ministries with the back-office side of that parachurch ministry. Terry is also intending to complete his Biblical Counseling training to Biblical counsel men. He currently volunteers as a mentor at the Davenport 180 ministries.
