Terry Marshall Campie – Business & College Professor

  1. Terry M. Campie was married to Dena L. Rauch for 26 years. They met in 1980 at there place of employment: Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric. Ms. Rauch worked in Human Resources dept. As a coop high school student and was later hired full-time.  Mr. Campie was hired in the Electric Design Division as an Electrical Engineering Technician. They met in the parking lot,  immediately became friends then were married June 11, 1983 at their home in Princeton,  Iowa. They had son, Paul, who was born December 28, 1987 but died January 1, 1988. Later Peter Lawrence Campie was born June 6, 1990. Peter was named after Terry’s grandfather brother Peter Campie and his grandfather Lawrence Rauch. Lucy Ellen Campie was born March 16, 1993. Lucy was named by her parents were exploring name options and walking on Princeton Beach where they spent many days together. 2.Mr. Terry Campiewas an Assistant Professor at The University of the Ozarks in Clarksville,  Arkansas.  There He taught marketing classes

  1.         ·          His professional career initially began in 1986 as an Electrical Engineering Technician for Iowan Illinois Gas and Electric where he created, maintained,   and modified large electrical distribution computer models on mainframe computers. ·             From there, his system electrical experience was transferred to Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility (MMEU) as their first Chief Executive Officer.   He served on the Iowa Municipal Utility Board and volunteered in the community. ·          MMEU was the 10 th largest Municipal Electric Utility on Iowa and provided service to the City of Maquoketa but also generated its own electricity with diesel generators.   He was responsible for the energy savings programs for the community. And calculated monthly the savings the community realized through co-generation.   2.        Terry Marshall Campie was an entrepreneur and college professor. He owned several businesses in Iowa including a set of 5 cemeteries

Terry Marshall Campie professional experience includes nearly 9 years of sales management for diverse industries. These range from: funeral home and cemetery  products and property sales, the sale of business enterprises, and industrial, commercial and retail detergent products and services. This experience was populated over nearly 4 decades. Terry Marshall Campie owned two (2) companies that attracted the attention of two (2) New York Stock Exchange Companies. In one case Mr. Campie sold his company to the Loewen Group which at the time traded initially on the NASDQ and later, at the time of acquisition on the NYSE. Ecolab, the world’s largest detergent manufacturer and seller also approached Mr. Campie to acquire his detergent business. But after a generous offer by Ecolab Mr. Campie declined because the terms would have meant all his employees would have lost their jobs.
